The samosa is India’s favorite snack. Our Vegetable Samosas are delicious pastries stuffed with well-seasoned potatoes, peas and herbs. They are traditionally served with Tamarind Chutney, a sweet, sour and spicy condiment. Serve samosas as an appetizer or a side dish with any Indian meal.

INGREDIENTS: PASTRY: Unbleached Wheat Flour (Wheat Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Water, Canola Oil, Chickpea Flour (Split Chana Dal Flour), Salt, Dextrose. FILLING: Potatoes (Potatoes, Dextrose, Disodium Pyrophosphate [Added to Maintain Color]), Green Peas, Canola Oil, Spices, Salt, Cilantro, Ginger. Jalapeño Peppers, Salt, Lime Juice, Mango Powder, Black Salt, Turmeric.

Cooking Directions

Do not thaw samosas.
Thaw chutney package at room temperature or in cold water. Do not heat chutney.

Frying (Recommended)

  1. Fill deep fryer 1/2 full with cooking oil and preheat to 350º F.
  2. Cover bottom of deep fryer basket with a layer of frozen samosas. Carefully lower basket into hot oil. Fry 4-6 minutes, or until samosas are golden brown*.
  3. Serve samosas with tamarind chutney.

Air Fryer

  1. Preheat air fryer.
  2. Fill air fryer basket with a single layer of frozen samosas. Cook samosas at 350º F on FROZEN setting for 10 minutes. Pause and shake halfway through cooking time*.
  3. Serve samosas with tamarind chutney.

Conventional Oven

  1. Preheat oven to 400º F. Place frozen samosas on a baking sheet.
  2. Bake in oven for 12-14 minutes until golden brown*, turning over halfway through.
  3. Serve samosas with tamarind chutney.

Use caution as filling may be hot. Appliances vary. Adjust cooking times as needed.
*Product must be cooked thoroughly to 165º F for food safety and quality.
